Photo Tagging

If business has subscribed the package to go online via mobile application or desktop app, its a good idea is to first ensure uploading some professional photos for each product, items, variants and business profile. Tagging an appropriate professional photo plays an important role in beautifying a website or mobile application. We encourage businesses to upload only professional photos of their items/products. Twirll provide multiple ways to tag photos (described below)

Recommended Photo Specification

Twirll highly recommend the photos with the following specification:

  • High quality and low size (<500 kb). This will help in quick loading of the photos via mobile/desktop app to the customers
  • Remove the background in the photo
  • Take photos from the center.
  • Clear any marks such as shadow

Tag Photo(s) to a Product

  • Navigate to “Operations ⇒ Manage Inventory ⇒ Manage Product/Item”.Manage Items
  • Click over the item/product (or click edit)Item-Selection
  • Click over the default/blank photo (refer screenshot below)Image Selection
  • This will provide the option to upload photo(s). Select one or multiple photos to be tagged on productImage Selection Modal
    • Go to “Media Library” (#1) to list  all your images,
    • Select one or multiple images(#2) to be added on item
    • Click on “Select Image” (#3) to confirm your selection
  • You can always upload new images to your album from Manage Albums

Tag Photo(s) to a Variant

If a product has multiple variants, Twirll allows you to upload different photos for each variant (e.g. say same design but different colour of an item). Follow the steps mentioned above “Tag Photos to product(s)”, then tag a photo to variant (refer screenshot below):variant Selection on modal

 

Bulk Photo Tagging To multiple Products

  • Navigate to “Operations ⇒ Manage Inventory ⇒ Manage Product/Item”
  • Keep the photo name same as that of Product Name
  • Click Tag Pic . Ensure that “Products” option (next to Item Overview) is display. If required, click once to get this option.
  • Search made easy: Keeping the photos name same/similar to product name can ease the search while tagging a long list of photos and items. You can also search via image name this will show the filtered results of items and photos.
  • Simply drag and drop the photos to the desired item/productassign image to product
  • Once tagged, click on “Save”assign image to product

Bulk Photo Tagging To multiple Variants

Follow the same steps as above (bulk photo tagging to multiple products), except the following:

  • Click ‘variants’ and toggle to ‘Variants’ (screenshot below)tag pic on variants
  • Follow the steps defined earlier (drag items to variants) and click save
